DESCRIPTION:Vision: A community free of the stigma associated with suicide and mental illness that is supportive of all those affected by suicide. \nMission: Partnering to create a responsive\, compassionate community and to eliminate suicide through education\, prevention\, and support. \nWho can attend?\nIf you or someone you know has been touched by suicide or you work in a field where you help to further the cause of suicide prevention\, we welcome you to participate in these meetings and the events/projects that we are spreading throughout the Lancaster County area. \nWhat to expect in meetings and with the coalition?\nThis is a professional meeting where we discuss upcoming events or projects\, organize volunteers\, check progress on projects and work out the details\, share resources\, brainstorm future possible events or projects. \nFirst timers: If you are attending for the first time\, feel free to sit back and just observe or chime in with any questions or ideas you have or volunteer yourself or any resources that you feel may be helpful. We’re happy to have you there!
