DESCRIPTION:*Please note\, this talk is also available with an virtual option at: https://mhalancaster.org/event/lgbtqsuicideprevention/* \nIn the SPC we provide these free monthly educational talks for various populations who may experience suicidal thoughts\, attempts\, or the loss of loved ones to suicide. \nOur goal is to better equip you and your loved ones to face specific challenges that may lead to suicidal thoughts. \nOur hope is that you find comfort in the words of those who have lived experience and gain education and resources to help you get connected to the support you need. \nTonight’s SPC panel discussion will center around LGBTQ+ and Suicide as we discuss the challenges you face and provide suicide prevention education\, advocacy\, and resources to help promote mental wellness to prevent suicide. \nThis may include\, but is not limited to… \n\nReducing stigma\nPersonal testimony\nSelf-care practices\nFavorite resources for education and online support\n\nQuestions are predetermined\, but you can add your questions by emailing Kay at kbela@mhalancaster.org to have them included or ask your questions at the end of the talk (as time permits). \nWe hope to see you there! \nKay Bela\, Program Coordinator at Mental Health America
