Suicide Prevention Coalition Coordinator
(Part Time: 7-10hrs/week)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position administers the Lancaster County Suicide Prevention Coalition. Suicide Prevention Coalition responsibilities include relaunching, overseeing and completing the community-based activities and training in the Lancaster County Suicide Prevention Coalition as well as running monthly coalition meetings.

Consumer Support Services Coordinator
(Full Time: 35-40hrs/week)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position administers both the Compeer Program and the Community Support Program and participates on the Legislative Committee. Compeer ensures that adults with a mental illness have supportive friendships by utilizing a network of community volunteers. The Community Support Program (CSP) is a cohort of consumers, family advocates and professionals/providers that meets monthly to advise on issues and provide strategies for the strengthening of consumer support systems.

Education Subcontractor (Part Time)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position assists Mental Health America of Lancaster County in providing education and training on MHALC services, topics on mental health issues, coping strategies, and best practices for wellness. This position supports the client in group settings on education, skill building, and resources to address issues and needs relating to mental health.
