Join us for our virtual ‘Walk Your Way’ event

This year, MHALC invites you to participate in an experience like never before. While we will not gather in person, you can still ensure mental health advocacy, education & support reaches your community. Just walk, run, bike, hike, swim, kayak, or cartwheel any time on throughout May – Mental Health Month as we count up the miles for mental health.

Now running through the end of May - Mental Health Awareness Month!

To give our teams more time to get creative, we have decided to extend the end of Walk Your Way. This means that we are extending it for individual walkers, too!

How Does It Work?

To help support Mental Health America of Lancaster County, simply sign up for one of our donor levels by registering below. These levels come with different items sporting our upcoming Anti-Stigma campaign slogan ‘We Need To Talk About Mental Health’. We then ask that you show your items off in style while you complete your mile(s).

Upload pictures to social media with #walkyourway4MHA #milesformentalhealth. Let us see all of the creative ways you accomplished your goal.

Participate as an individual. Participate as a team. You can even have your employer sponsor you and your co-workers. The beautiful part is, you can walk where ever you feel safe to do so and in whichever way you feel comfortable. You can do as little as a mile or as many miles as you wish.

The day you decide to walk, don’t forget to connect with us to win some medals and gift cards for you and/or your team…

  • Most ‘Engaged to Our Page’ – Share your pictures and posts about your ‘Walk Your Way’ experience to our Facebook, Instagram & Twitter pages
  • Most ‘On Message’ – Did you represent mental health while you were ‘Walking Your Way’?
  • Most ‘Inventive’ Individual – In what special way did you walk?
  • Most ‘Creative Use of Teamwork’ – If walking in a group of 2 or more, how did you get creative about your walk and still stay safe?
