The coalition’s goal is to be an educational hub for suicide prevention and mental health education. We want our members to learn about our local resources and programs to create a better understanding of our mental healthcare community.  If you or a member of your organization is interested in being a speaker or creating a panel for this monthly meeting, please reach out to mha@mhalancaster.org

Suicide Prevention Training

At MHALC, we believe that education is a key to empowering individuals with mental illness and to reducing the stigma surrounding the struggle with mental health.
With those beliefs in mind, we offer training, workshops, and seminars through the MHALC Mental Health Academy designed to provide an array of information, skills and tools to be used in one’s own mental health journey.

For questions about QPR or another type of customized mental health training, visit the Mental Health Academy to learn more.

MHA will also provide a speaker, panelist or resources. Ask whether you might qualify for a scholarship seat or grant funding by calling 717-397-7461 or emailing mha@mhalancaster.org.
