Numb hearts ~ Needs unmet
Mindless routines ~ Masked feelings
Drifting apart ~ Words unsaid
Weighed down ~ Fed up
Lonely hours ~ Idle moments
Endless days ~ Sleepless nights
Painful losses ~ Plans postponed
Unshed tears ~ Unspoken fears
Pulling inward ~ Plodding onward
Lord, please deliver us from this heart wrenching isolation… especially from those we love the most.
